It is strange to see the wildlife that stays around here in the winter. I posted pictures earlier of the geese. Shortly after I found these ducks. I think I am going to have to relearn what I knew about the ducks and geese. I was always told they flew south for the winter......maybe this is far enough south for them? I am not sure if these are the same ones, but there have been ducks every winter for the last 3 years in this creek that runs near our house. When I took this picture there were just these 2, but at one time I think I have seen as many as 6 here.
